Megan Dimozantos

Megan has been riding mountain bikes for a little under a year and a half now. Her initial intent was to only compete in Adventure Races and multisport events, however, after taking a particular liking to the mountain biking component in these events (and after sustaining a number of injuries that stopped her from running), she decided to focus this year on mountain biking alone, in particular, cross country and endurance races.

An adventurer from an early age, Megan has always been a keen participant and competitor in numerous outdoor adventure sports including rock climbing, adventure racing, kayaking and canyoning. Megan’s foundations in sport are firm and her focus and understandings exceptional.

Although her experience in Mountain Biking is so far limited, Megan’s early success, fuelled by her enthusiasm and desire to achieve demonstrate that her capabilities and potential are far beyond what she has so far demonstrated. Megan trains approximately 15 hours a week and also spends a large amount of time preparing herself mentally for competition. Her positive attitude and focus are key tools she uses to produce outstanding results based on the high expectations she has set for herself.
